Courage & Clarity Groups
In-person
Service Description
Offer spiritual care and growth opportunities for your community, organization, or group. Group settings provide shared learning, collective healing, and meaningful connection around topics like grief support, mindfulness, life transitions, spiritual practices, or interfaith dialogue. Research demonstrates that spiritual community participation is associated with healthier lives, including greater longevity, less depression and suicide, and less substance use. Group spiritual therapy has been shown to improve spiritual well-being and quality of life, with studies showing significant improvements in participants' overall wellness. The collective assets within spiritual communities offer equity and access for groups that have not always felt welcome or at ease in formal health establishments, making group spiritual care particularly meaningful for diverse populations. The power of group spiritual care lies in the sense of universality and belonging it creates—realizing that others share similar spiritual questions and struggles can be profoundly validating and healing. Studies consistently identify universality as one of the most effective components of group treatment, with research showing that when group experiences lead to greater universality and belonging, this predicts greater symptom improvement. Group settings foster connection through shared experiences, reduce feelings of isolation and stigma, and create a supportive community where members can grow and heal together. Participants gain diverse perspectives and insights from others' spiritual journeys, develop deeper self-awareness through group reflection, and build lasting supportive networks that extend beyond the sessions themselves. Whether your group is seeking collective healing after loss, exploring mindfulness practices together, navigating organizational transitions, or deepening interfaith understanding, group spiritual care creates a sacred space for shared growth and transformation.
